Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking two full-time school psychologists to support students at the elementary and high school levels in an on-site setting. This contract opportunity emphasizes collaboration, professional growth, and comprehensive student well-being within a supportive school community.

You will provide direct and consultative psychological services, conduct psychoeducational assessments for initial evaluations and re-evaluations, and develop, monitor, and adjust IEPs.

Qualifications

  • Must hold current School Psychologist certification/licensure.
  • Experience performing evaluations, assessments, and re-evaluations in schools.
  • Proficient in developing and implementing IEPs.
  • Strong communication with educators, families, and students.
  • Ability to manage caseloads and documentation efficiently.
  • Knowledge of special education laws, procedures, and best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct and consultative psychological services including assessments and interventions.
  • Administer and interpret psychoeducational assessments for initial evaluations and re-evaluations.
  • Develop and monitor effective IEPs for students.
  • Collaborate with faculty to support learning, behavior, and mental health.
  • Attend multidisciplinary team meetings and provide expertise for student advancement.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with relevant educational and ethical standards.

Job description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing pivotal school psychological services in a dynamic educational setting. Two full-time onsite positions are available to support students academic and emotional well-being at the elementary and high school level. Key Qualifications:
  • Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience conducting evaluations, assessments, and re-evaluations within a school setting
  • Proficient in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Strong communication skills for teamwork with educators, families, and students
  • Ability to manage caseloads and documentation efficiently
  • Understanding of special education laws, procedures, and best practices
Responsibilities:
  • Deliver direct and consultative psychological services for students, including assessments, behavioral interventions, and crisis intervention as needed
  • Administer and interpret psychoeducational assessments for initial evaluations and re-evaluations (7 at the elementary level, 64 at the high school)
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor effective IEPs for special education students (90 at the elementary school, 176 at the high school)
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to support student learning, behavior, and mental health
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, providing expertise for student advancement
  • Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with relevant educational and ethical standards
