Job summary

SPG Therapy & Education is a pediatric, clinician-led organization in Houston seeking a School Psychologist to conduct psychoeducational assessments and prepare comprehensive reports. You will certify eligibility for special education services and participate in IEP meetings, providing counseling and collaboration with administrators, parents, and school teams.

Qualifications

• Valid Texas School Psychology License.
• Ability to work in person at school sites.
• Strong collaboration with school teams and families.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychoeducational assessments for referred students.
• Prepare comprehensive, legally defensible written reports of assessment findings, with diagnoses and specific recommendations.
• Certify pupils’ eligibility for placement in special education services, programs or classes.
• Participate in IEP meetings, following due process timelines.
• Provide counseling services to students as needed.
• Provide consultative support to administrators, parents, students, school-based personnel and SPG staff.
