Job summary

SPG Therapy & Education, a pediatric specialty organization, seeks a School Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team in Texas. You will conduct psychoeducational assessments, prepare legally defensible reports, determine eligibility for special education, participate in IEP meetings, provide counseling, and advise administrators and families.

The role requires a valid Texas School Psychology License and in-person work.

Qualifications

• Valid Texas School Psychology License is required.
• Experience in school-based practice and collaboration with school teams is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychoeducational assessments for referred students in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
• Prepare comprehensive, legally defensible written reports with diagnoses and recommendations.
• Certify pupils’ eligibility for placement in special education services and programs.
• Participate in IEP meetings and adhere to due process timelines.
• Provide counseling services to students as needed.
• Provide consultative support to administrators, parents, and school staff on special education procedures and mental health strategies.
