Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a School Psychologist to support students' well-being and success in the Norfolk, VA area. This contract, full-time role offers 37.5+ hours per week and multiple openings to match your expertise and preferences.

Responsibilities include psychoeducational assessments, data-driven interventions, IEP participation, and collaboration with families and school staff to create effective student support plans across varied grade levels.

Qualifications

• Virginia School Psychologist certification/licensure (or eligibility) required or eligible.
• Masters or higher in School Psychology or closely-related field.
• Experience in K-12 settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform psychoeducational assessments and document findings.
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to design student support plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and eligibility determinations.
• Lead crisis intervention and prevention initiatives.
• Deliver consultation, counseling, and evidence-based interventions.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with state/federal guidelines.
