Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking an onsite School Psychologist for a full-time contract near Suffolk, VA. You will conduct psychological and academic assessments, develop and monitor IEPs, provide counseling, and collaborate with teachers and families within a supportive school team.

Qualifications

• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a School Psychologist.
• Experience in school settings preferred.
• Familiarity with RTI, IEPs, and special education eligibility.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and educational teams.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive school culture.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological and academic assessments to identify student needs.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Provide evidence-based counseling and intervention for students.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Support crisis intervention and restorative practices as needed.
• Offer consultative support to staff and families regarding behavioral and learning concerns.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Participate in professional development and contribute to the school community.
