Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a qualified School Psychologist for a full-time contract in the Norfolk, VA area for the 2026-2027 school year. The position runs Aug 2026 through Jun 2027, offering 35-37.5 hours per week with a flexible caseload and no evenings or weekends.

Preference given to candidates with Virginia School Psychologist certification or eligibility and VOCO experience. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, participating in IEP meetings, developing student support

Qualifications

Virginia certification eligibility required or existing certification as School Psychologist.
Experience across elementary, middle, and high school settings preferred.
Knowledge of assessment techniques and special education processes.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Experience with VOCO virtual services is a plus.
Attention to detail and organizational skills essential.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to support student learning and wellbeing.
Participate in IEP meetings with educators and families.
Develop effective support strategies for students.
Use data-driven decision-making to promote positive school environments.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and serve as a resource on psychological practices.
Complete documentation and reporting to maintain compliance and track student progress.
