Qualifications

• Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
• Experience working with students in preschool through middle grades (P-8), with emphasis on early childhood/elementary levels.
• Knowledge of psychological assessment procedures, behavior management, and intervention strategies for schools.
• Familiarity with case management of 40-50 students and delivering counseling to groups of 2-8.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for teamwork with staff, students, and families.
• Adaptability to work across multiple buildings in a district.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive school climate.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychological evaluations, assessments, and consultation services for students across four district locations, focusing on preschool through 4th grade.
• Manage a caseload of 40-50 students, ensuring individualized plans and ongoing support.
• Offer direct counseling to small groups (2-8 students) addressing emotional, social, or behavioral needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other stakeholders to develop intervention strategies and educational plans.
• Maintain detailed records and case notes for all students under your care; attend team meetings and engage in multidisciplinary discussions.
