Job summary

Jump Ahead Pediatrics is actively seeking a School Psychologist for a full-time school-based role near Bergen County, New Jersey. The position offers compensation of $60-62/hour with guaranteed hours for the full school day, including prep time and lunch.

Responsibilities include assessments and evaluations, counseling and intervention, and collaboration with teachers, parents, and administrators to support students' academic and behavioral needs. Required NCSP and NJ certification.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting psychological assessments and interpreting results.
• Ability to provide individual and group counseling to students.
• Ability to collaborate with teachers and families to develop intervention plans.

Setting: School-Based Services (Pediatric)

• Excellent Compensation
• Hours: 8:35am-3:00pm
• Pay: $60-62/hour
• Compensation for the full school day, including prep time, note time, and lunch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct psychological assessments to identify learning and behavioral issues and interpret results to develop intervention plans.
• Counseling and Intervention: Provide individual and group counseling, and implement intervention strategies to support students' emotional and behavioral needs.
• Consultation and Collaboration: Work with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop strategies for addressing academic, behavioral, and social issues.
