Job summary

Carroll County Schools is seeking a School Psychologist to conduct psycho-educational evaluations, respond to referrals for psychological assessment, communicate assessment results and recommendations, and consult with student support teams to address identified needs.

The position reports to the Director of Exceptional Children's Services, collaborates with administrators, parents, teachers, and specialists, and prepares written reports following state guidelines while maintaining

Qualifications

• Must hold or be eligible for Georgia Level 6 certification in School Psychology (P-12).
• Experience with psycho-educational evaluations and referrals is preferred.
• Ability to communicate assessment results clearly with families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Conducts individual comprehensive psychological evaluations.
• Responds to referrals for psychological assessment.
• Communicates assessment results and recommendations to administrators, parents, and teachers.
• Consults with student support teams and suggests interventions to address identified needs.
• Participates in eligibility team meetings for students with disabilities.
