Job summary

Dickinson-Iron Intermediate School District is seeking a School Psychologist for the 2026-27 school year. This full-time role focuses on assessments, diagnostics, counseling, and collaboration with teachers and families to support student success.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in School Psychology required.
  • Meets the requirements established by Special Education Rules.
  • Valid driver’s license if driving is required for job-related responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychological and educational assessments.
  • Evaluate and diagnose students with disabilities.
  • Provide consultation to teachers, families, administrators, and other professionals.
  • Provide psychological counseling and crisis intervention.
  • Support students with learning, behavioral, and emotional needs.
  • Develop behavior management strategies for individual students and classrooms.
  • Interpret assessment results and observations in meaningful, practical ways.
  • Participate on diagnostic and IEP teams.
  • Prepare accurate evaluations, reports, and required documentation.
  • Provide professional development and in-service training when needed.
  • Coordinate with agencies and individuals to support student success.
  • Provide preventive services that promote a positive climate for learning.
