Petersburg City Public Schools in Petersburg, VA is seeking a School Psychologist to provide psychoeducational evaluations, eligibility determinations, and collaborative supports for students' academic and social-emotional needs.

The role involves conducting assessments, reporting findings, participating in IEP and eligibility meetings, and coordinating with teachers and families while maintaining comprehensive documentation in line with district and state requirements.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in school psychology from an accredited program.
• Eligibility for Virginia PPST license or possession of Virginia credentials.
• Experience with psychoeducational assessments and report writing.

Responsabilités

• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and reevaluations for students
• Prepare written reports to support eligibility determinations
• Participate in eligibility meetings, IEPs, and MTSS processes
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families on interventions
• Assist with functional behavioral assessments and behavior supports
• Maintain documentation in compliance with district/state requirements
• Support crisis response and threat assessment as assigned
• Perform other duties as directed by the Director of Special Education
