Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 academic year in Virginia. This contract position offers a 37.5-hour work week from 8:45 am to 3:45 pm, with flexible schedules and a negotiable caseload to fit your strengths.

You'll conduct assessments, provide direct therapy (individual and group), and collaborate with educators, families, and staff to support students' academic and emotional success. Weekly pay and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Licensed School Psychologist in Virginia
• Experience with assessments and diagnostic testing
• Ability to provide individual and group therapy
• Familiarity with behavior modification techniques
• Strong communication with students, families, staff
• Accurate record-keeping and progress reporting

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological evaluations and diagnostic exams
• Develop recommendations to support learning and well-being
• Provide direct therapy to students, individually or in groups
• Assist with identifying and placing students needing services
• Apply behavior modification strategies to support student growth
• Maintain communication with families and staff to ensure comprehensive support
• Document ongoing student progress and maintain accurate records
