Job summary

Beaufort County School District seeks a School Psychologist to promote student well-being through psychological services, assessments, and intervention planning within the school setting.

The role includes collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support academic and social-emotional development, with data-driven and culturally responsive practices guiding services.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid South Carolina teaching certificate or be able to obtain one within 60 days from being hired.
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.

Responsibilities

• Participate in RTI/MTSS meetings, including consultation and data collection for interventions.
• Participate in PBIS and behavior support planning with teachers and staff.
• Participate in Referral/Evaluation Planning for evaluations and due process.
• Conduct psychological evaluations and schedule Eligibility Determination meetings.
• Assist with development and monitoring of Section 504 plans and accommodations.
• Provide individual and group counseling and document goals and progress.
