Questar III BOCES seeks a School Psychologist to support students across our Special Education Programs. The role focuses on counseling, crisis response, and collaborative planning to promote academic and social-emotional well-being.

The position requires NYS School Psychologist certification, with priority given to those currently enrolled in certification programs and experience with special education students.

Qualifications

• NYS School Psychologist certification is required.
• Strong experience with students in special education is preferred.
• Certification candidates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling to support social-emotional needs.
• Lead and participate in FBAs to understand challenging behavior.
• Coordinate PBIS teams for school-wide and targeted interventions.
• Respond to crisis situations with appropriate intervention.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to implement strategies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal.
