Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a School Psychologist for a contract position in a supportive district. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, provide individual and group counseling, and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student well-being and educational equity.

You will participate in IEP development and crisis response, maintain confidential records, and help implement evidence-based interventions in a multidisciplinary team.

Qualificações

• Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
• Masters or higher degree in School Psychology or a related field.
• Experience in individual and group counseling, assessments, and intervention planning.
• Familiarity with the special education process and IEP development.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students referred for academic, behavioral, or social-emotional concerns
• Provide individual and group counseling to support student well-being and mental health
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to implement evidence-based interventions and strategies
• Participate in the development, review, and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Offer crisis intervention and participate in prevention initiatives
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with policies and legal requirements
