ProCare Therapy is seeking a School Psychologist for a full-time contract at an elementary school in Barrington, IL. You will conduct psychoeducational assessments, provide counseling, support IEP processes, and collaborate with teachers, families, and the special education team.

Job description

Step into a dynamic elementary school setting, supporting a vibrant community of K-5 students in an inclusive learning environment. This full-time, contract opportunity is available immediately, covering a medical leave with the potential to extend through the school year. You'll collaborate closely with a fellow psychologist and engage with a dedicated special education program, empowering young learners both academically and emotionally.

Key Qualifications and Experience:
  • Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working in K-5 settings, preferably within special education environments
  • Proficiency with assessment, counseling, and student intervention strategies
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Provide psychoeducational assessments and develop individualized plans for students

Schedule:
  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 7:50 AM 2:50 PM
  • Wednesday: 7:50 AM 3:20 PM

Compensation for this position ranges from $39.92 to $69.92.
