Job summary

Soliant is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to support students’ educational journeys in a Newark, Delaware school setting. This contract role offers collaboration with a skilled team and opportunities to influence assessments, interventions, and student well‑being.

You will work closely with educators to implement IEPs, provide counseling, and contribute to data-driven decisions that enhance learning outcomes.

Qualifications

• Licensed School Psychologist with current certification.
• Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and interventions.
• Strong knowledge of IEPs, special education law, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for special education services.
• Consult with teachers, counselors, and administrators to design effective interventions and accommodations.
• Participate in eligibility, IEP, and other multidisciplinary meetings.
• Provide individual or group counseling to support emotional and behavioral needs.
• Collaborate with families to foster student growth and well-being.
• Maintain thorough, timely records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive student information.
