Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to support students in Spanaway, Washington. This full-time, school-year position involves collaborating with educators, families, and a multidisciplinary team to promote academic achievement, social and emotional well-being, and effective behavior support.

Responsibilities include psychoeducational evaluations, IEP development, and providing consultation and crisis support as needed.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to support the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral success of students in the Spanaway, WA community. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create positive learning environments where every student can thrive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments.
  • Interpret assessment results and prepare written reports.
  • Participate in eligibility meetings and Individualized Education Program (IEP) development.
  • Provide consultation to teachers, administrators, and families regarding student learning and behavioral needs.
  • Develop and implement behavioral intervention plans and evidence-based strategies.

Qualifications
  • Master's, Educational Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
  • Valid Washington State Educational Staff Associate (ESA) School Psychologist Certification (or eligibility to obtain prior to employment).
  • Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, MTSS, and special education processes.
  • Strong assessment, consultation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary educational setting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a K12 school setting.
  • Experience with behavioral assessments and intervention planning.
  • Familiarity with culturally responsive assessment practices.
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
