Job description

School Psychologist (1.0 FTE) for 24/25SY - (.6) Algonquin Middle School and (.4) District-Wide

Join Community Unit School District 300 as a School Psychologist for the 2024-2025 school year, serving (.6) at Algonquin Middle School and (.4) district-wide.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct case study evaluations, RTI data analysis, and psychological testing.
  • Engage in communication with administration, staff, and parents.
  • Participate in crisis teams and support students in behavioral crises.
  • Coordinate and facilitate special education meetings, monitor evaluation processes, and manage data entry.
  • Collaborate with teams to develop behavioral interventions and support accommodations.
  • Provide support to parents and serve as a liaison to ensure their involvement in intervention and evaluation processes.
  • Maintain crisis prevention certification and stay informed on trauma-informed practices and restorative approaches.
  • Observe students and assist in setting instructional goals and strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records and utilize technology effectively.
  • Participate in professional development and district initiatives.
  • Develop and monitor IEPs in compliance with legal and district standards.
Qualifications

Illinois licensure with School Psychologist endorsement(s) required.
