Job summary

Onward Education is seeking a full-time, in-person School Psychologist to support a Hampshire County middle and high school for the 2026-2027 school year. This role involves assessment, counseling/intervention, and collaboration with school teams on student support planning.

You will work on-site with MA licensure requirements, conduct psychological and educational assessments, participate in IEP/504 meetings, and help implement data-informed interventions and preventive practices to promote

Qualifications

• Massachusetts DESE School Psychologist license - Initial or Professional.
• Master's degree or higher in School Psychology.
• School-based practicum/field experience as required for MA licensure.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological and educational assessments to identify student strengths/needs and inform eligibility for services
• Provide individual and group counseling to support emotional regulation, coping skills, peer relationships, and overall well-being
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families on classroom strategies, behavior supports, and intervention planning
• Participate in IEP and 504 meetings and multidisciplinary problem-solving teams as needed
• Support prevention and promotion efforts (e.g., SEL, trauma-informed practices, positive behavior supports)
• Assist with crisis response and post-crisis student/staff support when needed
• Use data to monitor progress and evaluate effectiveness of interventions; support evidence-based decision‑making
