Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a School Psychologist for travel assignments in Rio Rancho, NM. The role provides on-site psychological services to students with a focus on mental health and developmental issues, supporting the qualification for additional services.

The position requires current state licensure, pediatric experience preferred, and a Master’s degree in psychology is favored. A 37-hour work week and weekly pay are provided as part of a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Must maintain current State licensures and/or certifications in state of assignment.
• Experience in pediatric and adolescent population is preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site psychological services to students.
• Support students through mental health and developmental issues.
• Assist in qualifying students for additional support services.

The School Psychologist works to support students through avariety of mental health and developmental issues and aids in qualifyingstudents for additional support services.The School Psychologist is responsible for providing on-sitepsychological services to students under the jurisdiction of the state anddistrict.
