Community Academy of Philadelphia Charter School is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join our team to support students’ academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and overall well-being while collaborating with teachers, administrators, families, and other members of the student support team.

The role requires valid PA School Psychologist certification and a Master’s degree in School Psychology, with experience in IEP development, assessments, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Valid Pennsylvania School Psychologist certification is required.
  • Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field.
  • Experience working with school-age children.
  • Knowledge of special education regulations, assessment practices, and intervention strategies.
  • Strong communication, organization, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct and write legally defensible evaluations and re-evaluations.
  • Conduct psychological and educational assessments and evaluations in accordance with applicable requirements.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Provide counseling, consultation, and support to students as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers to address student needs.
  • Assist with identifying academic, behavioral, and social-emotional concerns and developing appropriate interventions.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records and documentation.
  • Participate in manifestation determination meetings as needed.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to the development of appropriate student support plans.
  • Support the school’s efforts to promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
  • Perform other duties related to the position as assigned.

Salary Range: $50,000.00 To $89,313.00 Annually
