Job description

We are looking for a talented bilingual School Psychologist for the school year.

Hourly Rate Range: $55.00 - $70.00 per hour

Responsibilities include:

• Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide individual and group counseling to support student mental health, emotional well-being, and behavioral growth.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, school administrators, and other educational professionals to develop effective academic and behavioral interventions.
• Participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, eligibility determinations, and crisis intervention when needed.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE), Chapter 14, and IDEA requirements.
• Provide consultation and training for staff on topics such as mental health, classroom behavior management, and social-emotional learning.
• Support students in developing social skills, coping strategies, and self-regulation techniques.

Required Qualifications:

• Master's, Educational Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
• Valid Pennsylvania Educational Specialist Certificate – School Psychologist issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE), or eligibility to obtain certification prior to employment.
• Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) credential preferred.
• Required Pennsylvania clearances, including Pennsylvania State Police Criminal History, Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, and FBI Federal Criminal History Background Check.
