Recruitment Advisor| Education Specialist

Location: North Chicago, IL

Schedule: Full-Time (Preferred) or Part-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Contract Dates: August 27, 2025 – June 12, 2026

A school district in North Chicago is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to serve students across multiple buildings in a hybrid capacity. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact while maintaining a balanced and flexible work schedule.

Position Overview

• Hybrid model: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote
• Caseload: K–8 students, district-wide, with building assignment flexibility based on availability
• Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, managing special education paperwork, and participating in IEP meetings as needed
• Required: Paid 8-hour contractor orientation session prior to assignment start

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement
• Master's degree or higher in School Psychology
• Strong knowledge of evaluation procedures, special education law, and IEP processes
• Experience working in school settings preferred
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
