Ampersand Therapy is hiring a School Psychologist for a full-time, short-term assignment starting ASAP through December 4, 2026. Join a collaborative school team to support students' learning, social-emotional development, and access to appropriate educational services.

Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive evaluations, preparing reports, and participating in IEP meetings, while collaborating with teachers, families, and administrators.

Qualifications

• Master's or advanced degree in school psychology.
• Valid Washington ESA certification in school psychology.
• Experience conducting school-based evaluations and participating in the special education process.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• Availability to begin ASAP and remain through December 4, 2026.

• Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:15 PM
• Setting: School-based
• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: December 4, 2026

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify students' learning, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
• Prepare evaluation reports and share findings with families and school teams
• Participate in eligibility determinations and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
• Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers to support student success
• Consult on interventions, accommodations, and behavior support strategies
• Maintain accurate documentation and complete evaluations within required timelines

• Ability to accommodate occasional extended days for meetings or administrative work
• Ability to complete required district onboarding and background checks
