Job summary

Co-op Academy Clarice Cliff in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking a Premises Officer to maintain the school’s premises, ensuring security, safety and smooth operations across internal and external spaces.

The role is 35 hours per week, permanent all year, with NJC payscales levels 5, SCP 7–12. Actual salary ranges £24,974–£27,051 with a full-time annual equivalent aligned to the school’s terms.

Qualifications

• Strong communication with colleagues and external contractors.
• Motivated with focus on low-level maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the premises, security and safety of internal and external areas.
• Support transition to Facilities Management contractor and ensure outstanding works are followed up.
• Work with colleagues and external contractors to complete tasks.
• Demonstrate initiative and provide reliable facilities support.
