Job summary

Amergis is seeking a School Physical Therapist (PT) for a contract-part-time role in Rocky Hill, CT. The PT will evaluate students and deliver and document therapy services per individual plan of care and physician orders where applicable.

The candidate must hold current PT licensure in the state, be a graduate of an accredited PT program, and meet standard professional requirements. CPR, health certificate, and other regulatory checks may be required.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
• One year of prior professional Physical Therapy experience preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

The Physical Therapist is responsible for performing student evaluations, as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with plan of care developed for each student and per physician’s orders when applicable.

Minimum Requirements
