Job summary

FullShift Staffing is currently hiring Physical Therapists for school-based positions in Fresno, California for the 2023-2024 school year. You will promote the physical, emotional, and social growth of students through therapeutic activities and collaboration with school staff.

Responsibilities include evaluating and treating students with disabilities, maintaining progress notes, writing treatment plans, and attending meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• California license to practice as a physical therapist.
• Prior experience working with children/pediatrics.
• Valid CA Driver’s License.
• Fingerprinting and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily attendance records, write progress reports, and attend meetings.
• Provide care to children with various disabilities to promote development in the school environment.
• Maintain continuing, detailed documented records of students with PT needs.
• Aid in forming physical therapy goals for students.
• Review and apply student goals.
• Prepare written treatment plans for each student.
• Protect students from preventable injury, discomfort, and illness.
• Report/document all unordinary events concerning student safety and development.

A longstanding school district for children is currently seeking Physical Therapists for their 2023-2024 school year. You will be tasked with promoting the physical, emotional, and social growth of the students participating in their programs. • Reviews and applies student’s individual’s goals.
• Forms and preps written treatment plans for each individual student.
• Protect students from preventable injury, discomfort, and/or illness.
• Report/document all unordinary events concerning student’s safety and development.

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate (Bachelors) of an accredited school of Physical Therapy
• California License to practice as a physical therapist.
• Prior experience working with children/pediatrics.
• Valid CA Driver’s License
• Will need to successfully pass a background check, and drug test
• Will require fingerprinting.

Preferred Skills:

• Masters/Doctorate in Physical Therapy
• Prior experience working at an educational facility.
