Nyman Associates, Inc. is seeking a School Physical Therapist to support students with disabilities in educational settings across our multi-state footprint.

You will assess physical abilities, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based therapy to promote academic success and independence. The role emphasizes collaboration with teachers, clinicians, and families, along with ongoing professional development and mentorship from clinical leaders, to ensure student progress

Qualifications

• Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Certification from the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) or eligibility for certification
• State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a physical therapist

Responsibilities

• Providing specialized services to students with disabilities or injuries that impact participation in educational activities
• Assessing students' physical abilities to support access and engagement
• Developing individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals
• Implementing interventions to improve motion, mobility, and school participation
• Conducting assessments
• Managing adaptations and equipment
• Using best practices to enhance students’ physical functioning
• Developing IEP goals and objectives
• Creating fitness and wellness programs tailored to students needs
• Delivering quality, personalized, and evidence-based therapy
• Consulting and collaborating with school team members
• Documenting therapy sessions and monitoring progress

Education
