Job summary

Nyman Associates, Inc. is seeking a School Physical Therapist to support students across our educational services footprint in the Northeastern US.

As a PT in schools, you'll assess abilities, develop and implement treatment plans, and collaborate with school teams to promote participation and academic success. Our network emphasizes mentorship, professional development, and meaningful work with children.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Certification from the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) or eligibility for certification
• State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a physical therapist

Responsibilities

• Providing specialized services to students with disabilities or injuries that impact participation in educational activities
• Assessing students' physical abilities to support access and engagement
• Developing individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals
• Implementing interventions to improve motion, mobility, and school participation
• Developing IEP goals and objectives
• Creating fitness and wellness programs tailored to students needs
• Delivering quality, personalized, and evidence-based therapy
• Consulting and collaborating with school team members
• Documenting therapy sessions and monitoring progress
