Pueblo County School District 70 is hiring Paraprofessional staff for South Mesa Elementary School. Two positions available for the 2026-2027 school year, 8 hours per day across 155 work days. Base salary range listed with external candidate adjustments, in a non-exempt classification.

Qualifications

• REQUIRED: High School Diploma or GED
• HQ is defined as having 48 credit hours from an accredited college or university, OR having successfully passed the Work Keys Test or Praxis Test for Paraprofessionals, OR having an Associates Degree or higher.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with a wide variety of needs including academic, behavioral, life skills, social-emotional instruction and health care supports.
• Support learning, mobility, emotional regulation, health care, feeding and/or hygiene as needed.

Education

HQ: 48 credit hours OR Praxis/Work Keys OR Associate Degree or higher
