Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Knowledge of basic office skills, including proficiency in computer programs and record keeping.
• Strong communication and human relations skills.
• Ability to perform simple math.
• Criminal history background check clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily attendance of students and record in Real Time.
• Assist school nurse with health checks and record data in Real Time.
• Assist with daily care of students (temperatures, bandages, ice packs).
• Collect/file employee emergency cards.
• Maintain first aid kits for sport groups.
• Process student/staff accident reports.
• General office duties (duplicating, sorting, filing).
• Assist main office staff with filing, copying, phones and clerical tasks.
• Scan, sort and shelve returned books and other periodicals.
• Operate circulation desk and monitor library loans.
• Monitor library labels and notify librarian when updates are needed.
• Assist with playground supervision, bus loading/unloading, lunchroom tasks.
