Job summary

The State College Area School District is seeking a Health Care Paraprofessional for a 12-month period. Under the supervision of the Certified School Nurse, you will provide minor first aid and basic health care for students, along with clerical duties.

Additional responsibilities include reviewing immunization records and providing health office coverage for camps and ESY. Primary work location is Ferguson Township Elementary School, with possible summer assignments district-wide.

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania RN or LPN license required.
• CPR/AED certification and First Aid certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide minor first aid and basic health care for students who are ill or injured.
• Assist with school health services and perform related clerical duties.
• Review student immunizations and compliance, and provide health office coverage for camps and ESY as needed.
