Job summary

Northwest Ohio Educational Service Center (Nwoesc) Defiance County Schools in Archbold, Ohio seeks an Occupational Therapist Substitute (part or full-time) to provide educationally relevant therapy services. Immediate start with responsibilities across IEPs and evaluation teams.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid Ohio OT/PT and ODE Pupil Services licenses as an occupational therapist.
• Follows Licensure Code of Professional Conduct for Ohio Educators.
• Knowledge of Ohio Schools Medicaid Program.

Responsibilities

• Designs and provides educationally relevant occupational therapy services guided by evidence-based practice.
• Collaborates with evaluation team to assess student performance and recommends services for IEP.
• Documents results in Evaluation Team Reports by required deadlines.
• Supports students in strengthening motor, sensory processing and functional skills within the educational setting.
• Maintains confidentiality and adheres to district policies.
