Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a School Occupational Therapist (OT) for a part-time contract in Lincoln, Maine. The role focuses on evaluating students, providing and coordinating therapy, and documenting care per each student’s plan.

The OT must hold state licensure, maintain CPR (where applicable), and meet all regulatory requirements. Eligibility includes meeting health and safety standards and being at least 18 years old.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of practice.
• One year of prior professional Occupational Therapy experience preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Perform student evaluations.
• Develop and provide therapy services.
• Document services in accordance with the plan of care for each student.

Education

Licensed Occupational Therapist

1 year OT experience

CPR certification

Health certificate

TB/PPD or chest x-ray

Meets all federal, state, local requirements
