Job summary

Cross Country Education in Arlington Heights, IL is seeking a School Services School Occupational Therapist for a local contract position for the upcoming school year. You will provide occupational therapy services to middle school students, supporting their educational participation and progress toward individualized goals.

This 40-hour-per-week, 41-week assignment offers competitive pay of $43.00–$55.30 per hour, weekly pay, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Valid Illinois Occupational Therapist License.
• School-based or pediatric OT experience preferred; strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to middle school students, supporting their educational participation, functional skills, and progress toward individualized goals.
• Conduct initial and re-evaluations to help determine special education eligibility and recommend appropriate supports and interventions.
• Provide MTSS and IEP support while collaborating with educators and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success and skill development.
• Consult with school teams to help students generalize therapeutic skills across academic and school environments.
