Job summary

AnthroMed Education is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist to support middle school students (grades 6–8) in Arlington Heights, IL. You will join a collaborative team of eight OTs and contribute to MTSS and IEP services while coordinating with educators and families.

The role involves evaluations, building-level collaboration, and ensuring skill generalization across the school setting in a dynamic district environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Illinois Occupational Therapy License through IDFPR.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Experience working with school-aged students is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to students in grades 6–8.
• Conduct initial and re-evaluations to help determine special education eligibility.
• Provide support through MTSS and IEP services.
• Participate in building-level teams and multidisciplinary meetings.
• Collaborate with teachers, case managers, school staff, and families.
• Consult with teams to support the generalization of student skills.
