Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a school-based Occupational Therapist to support students near Eagle Point, Oregon. This contract role emphasizes direct OT services and collaboration with educators, families, and the education team to foster independence and classroom participation.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience working in school settings, supporting children and youth.
• Solid grasp of IEP processes, goal development, and documentation for compliance.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to adapt strategies to meet a variety of needs.
• Comfort working onsite within dynamic educational environments.
• Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 35 students.

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students, fostering independence and participation in academic tasks.
• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans in collaboration with the educational team.
• Create and implement individualized interventions supporting fine motor, sensory processing, and self-help skills.
• Provide clear documentation, progress notes, and participate actively in IEP meetings.
• Serve as a resource for teachers, recommending classroom modifications and accommodations.
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and goals.
