Job summary

Sylvania in Tucson seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support students in the school setting under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. You will provide therapy services, implement plans, collect data, and document progress.

You will review IEPs with the OT and collaborate to ensure services align with student goals; strong communication and reliability are essential to support educationally relevant OT interventions.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Successful completion of the NBCOT exam and current COTA certification.
• Verbal & Written communication skills in English and ability to read/understand instructions.
• At least 2 years of experience working with youth ages 3-18.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to students in the school setting.
• Review and consult with an Occupational Therapist on an IEP to provide services.
• Document therapy progress and collect standardized assessment data.
