Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assess and identify difficulties of referred students through diagnostic procedures
• Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate intervention goals connected to the student’s educational program
• Communicate results of assessments to teachers, parents, and other professionals as appropriate
• Assist students in transferring skills to classroom and home in collaboration with teachers and parents
• Monitor and adjust therapy program goals in coordination with other professionals
• Participate in transitions of students into and out of educational/therapy programs
• Provide reassessments of students at educationally relevant intervals
• Maintain student records and prepare required reports
• Supervise and monitor occupational therapy assistants and aides
