Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing in Tempe, AZ is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a 2026-2027 school-year contract. The role is 30 hours per week, balancing direct and indirect services to support students.

You will deliver OT services to preschool through 8th grade, supervise 12 COTAs, collaborate on IEP goals, and maintain compliant documentation. Caseload typically 40–60 students with 60-minute sessions once per month.

Qualifications

• Current OT license in Arizona.
• Valid IVP fingerprint card.
• Prior school-based or pediatric experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Capacity to supervise and mentor COTAs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver targeted occupational therapy services to a varied student population.
• Collaborate with educational teams to develop and implement IEP goals.
• Supervise and support 12 Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state standards.
• Consult with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student success.
• Actively participate in team meetings and contribute expertise to support student achievement.
