Austintown Local Schools is seeking a Paraprofessional - Office Aide / Monitor at Austintown Intermediate School in Austintown, OH. The starting wage is $15.73 per hour under the OAPSE CBA, with a 5.75 hour contract and scheduled report times from 9:15 am to 3:00 pm.

This role supports school administrators, assists secretaries, and monitors students to maintain a safe learning environment. Applicants must pass BCII and FBI background checks, hold an Ohio Educational Aide Permit with ESEA

Qualifications

• Background checks: favorable BCII (State) and FBI (Federal).
• Valid Ohio Educational Aide Permit with ESEA endorsement.
• Rapback Enrollment through the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce.
• Ohio Auditor of State Fraud Reporting and Training.
• Negative drug screen result.

Responsibilities

• Perform clerical duties in support of building administrators and staff.
• Assist secretaries with daily duties as assigned.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct.
• Demonstrate strong computer skills: word processing, spreadsheets, email.
• Operate office equipment: fax, copier, multi-line phone.
• Attend in-service and staff development sessions.
• Monitor students as Lunch & Recess Monitor when needed.
• Enforce pupil behavior and ensure a safe environment.
