Job summary

Compass Group USA’s SSC Services for Education is hiring Administrative Assistant positions (full time and part time) at TAMU SA, 1 University Way, San Antonio, TX 78224. The role provides clerical support for school food service programs with Monday–Friday shifts 8:00 am–2:00 pm; some openings available at other local locations.

Pay ranges from $16.00 to $19.00 per hour. Benefits include a comprehensive package, same-day pay, 401K with company match, disability insurance, health and wellness

Qualifications

• Prior office work and computer experience with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephones and direct inquiries in a professional and client-centric manner.
• Assist management staff in preparing confidential employment and labor relations documents, including but not limited to proposed disciplinary notices.
• Assist with staffing, including finding staff when employees call out on short notice.
• Work effectively and maintain good working relationships with coworkers, school personnel, administrators, students' parents and Supervisor.
• Enter weekly cash sales and meal counts using computer.
• Perform daily bank deposit reconciliation.
• Process vendor invoices for payment – using computer, checking item prices against bid specifications.
• Prepare monthly state claim form for reimbursement.
• Assist in preparation of end of month financial reports.
