Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a school-based occupational therapist to support PreK–12 students near Newark, CA. This contract role offers collaboration with dedicated school staff and the chance to impact student participation in daily activities.

You will manage a caseload of 67 students with a mix of direct and consultative services, working across mild to complex disabilities and applying evidence-based interventions in an educational setting.

Qualifications

• Licensed OT in California required.
• Experience in educational/school settings preferred.
• Ability to manage a diverse PreK–12 caseload.

Step into a dynamic school-based occupational therapy role serving students from PreK through 12th grade in a vibrant educational setting near Newark, CA. This contract opportunity allows you to collaborate with dedicated staff and make a profound impact by supporting student growth and participation in daily school activities.

Youll manage a caseload of 67 students, with services split between direct and consultative support. Most interventions are pull-out, group, or individual sessionsoffering variety and the chance to tailor your therapy to each student's unique needs. From mild to more complex cases, youll be working with a broad spectrum of disabilities, expanding your expertise across educational therapy.

Qualifications:

• Valid California Occupational Therapy License required
• Previous experience as an OT in an educational/school setting preferred
• Ability to effectively manage a diverse caseload (PreK12)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset

Key Responsibilities:
