Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to support students in a California school district for the full school year. The contract spans ages 5–22, with 0.8 to 1.0 FTE, and includes onsite and teletherapy options within a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

The role requires current CA OT licensure, school-based experience (direct and virtual), and capacity to manage a diverse caseload while communicating with educators and families.

Qualifications

• Current California Occupational Therapist license.
• Experience in school-based occupational therapy, including direct and virtual service delivery.
• Ability to support a diverse student caseload, adapting interventions for various ages and abilities.
• Strong communication and collaboration with educators, families, and other specialists.
• Credentialed as required by California state guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students across assigned school sites onsite and via teletherapy as needed.
• Conduct assessments, develop customized goals, and create treatment plans to foster student progress.
• Maintain thorough documentation and support compliance with district and state requirements.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to comprehensive student planning.
• Engage in ongoing communication with educators and families to ensure continuity of care.
