Supplemental Health Care is seeking a local contract School Occupational Therapist for Dearborn Heights, Michigan. This 13-week assignment offers 32.5 hours per week with a 6-hour daytime shift and competitive hourly pay.

As part of SHC Education, you’ll deliver OT services in accordance with IEPs, develop and monitor therapy plans, and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families. Eligibility for Michigan licensure is required, with potential supervision of assistants.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with Michigan license or eligibility.
• Passion for working with kids and a creative, flexible approach.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Deliver OT services based on each student’s IEP.
• Develop, implement, and track therapy plans that actually work.
• Evaluate students, collect data, and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to help students thrive.
• Work across multiple grade levels and may travel between schools.
• Potentially supervise OT assistants.
