Job summary

E-Therapy is seeking an onsite School Occupational Therapist (OTR) in Dearborn Heights, MI for the 26/27 school year. The role requires a MI OT license, NBCOT, and a Master’s in OT, with a start ASAP for a 37.5 hour work week.

You will evaluate students, develop and implement treatment plans, collaborate with families and school staff, and participate in IEP meetings to support PreK-12 learners’ growth. Onsite only, competitive compensation starting at $48/hour.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Michigan OT license required.
• NBCOT certification required.
• Experience in K-12/school setting preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration with students, parents and school staff.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and goals in collaboration with students, parents, and school staff.
• Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to address students' needs and promote skill development.
• Monitor and document progress toward goals; adjust plans as needed.
• Provide consultation to teachers and staff on strategies to promote participation in class.
