Job summary

Soliant is seeking a dedicated occupational therapist to provide school-based OT services in Concord, NC. You will assess students, develop interventions aligned with IEP goals, and collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to expand academic participation.

You will deliver direct therapy to individuals or small groups, maintain precise documentation, and contribute to ongoing professional development within a supportive educational environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed occupational therapist eligible to work in school settings.
• Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with teachers and families.
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate students’ abilities and needs through observations and standardized tests.
• Develop and implement targeted intervention plans in accordance with students’ IEP goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to ensure coordinated support.
• Provide direct therapy services individually or in groups, supporting academic access and life skills.
• Maintain accurate documentation of sessions, progress, and communications.
• Support professional development of staff by sharing OT strategies and insights.
• Participate in meetings and contribute your expertise to multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications & Experience

• Current and valid Occupational Therapist license
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly preferred

• Ability to manage a caseload and conduct assessments independently
• Compassion and dedication to supporting children with diverse needs
