Carolina School Services (CSS) is currently seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our expanding team at the Wake Forest clinic. This position is ideal for an OT who is passionate about delivering functional and engaging pediatric therapy, and who desires flexibility with the potential to develop a consistent, full-time caseload over time.
- Clinic-based pediatric OT (birth–21; caseload tailored to your strengths)
- Focus areas may include fine/visual motor skills, sensory processing, self-regulation, ADLs, executive functioning, and school readiness
- Opportunities for 1:1 sessions and potential small groups as the program expands
- Part‑time to start, with the opportunity to transition to full‑time as referrals increase
- Flexible schedule — select your consistent days/times (after‑school and daytime options available)

Compensation & Pay Structure
- $55–$65/hour (commensurate with certifications, experience, and licensure)
- 1099 independent contractor status
- Option to transition to W‑2 status as hours increase and schedule stabilizes
Responsibilities
- Conduct pediatric OT evaluations and provide treatment in an outpatient clinic setting
- Develop individualized plans of care with measurable, functional goals
- Implement interventions targeting fine motor skills/handwriting, visual‑motor integration, sensory processing, regulation, coordination, and ADLs (as appropriate)
- Educate caregivers and provide practical strategies for home programs to ensure carryover
- Timely documentation of evaluations, daily notes, progress updates, and discharge summaries
- Collaborate with clinic team members (SLP, mental health clinicians, learning specialists) to support holistic child development goals
Qualifications (Required)
- Active or eligible NC OT license
- Preferred pediatric experience (clinic, school, early intervention, daycare, etc.) or a strong interest in pediatrics
