Job summary

Princeton Staffing Solutions is seeking an on-site Occupational Therapist (OT) for a school-based assignment in South Saint Paul, MN. This full-time, W2 contract runs Oct 2026 through Feb 2027, with a 37.5-hour week and in-person delivery for PreK-5th grade.

Qualified candidates hold a Master’s/Doctoral degree in OT and MN licensure (Compact eligibility). NBCOT is preferred; prior school/pediatric experience and IEP collaboration are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Minnesota OT license or Compact License eligibility.
• NBCOT certification preferred or required based on state requirements.
• Previous school-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with IEP development, documentation, and multidisciplinary collaboration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students to determine functional performance and eligibility for occupational therapy services.
• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services in individual and group settings.
• Address fine motor, visual motor, sensory processing, self-care, handwriting, and functional school participation skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers.
• Participate in IEP, eligibility, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Recommend adaptive equipment, classroom accommodations, and assistive technology when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and service logs in accordance with district, state, and federal requirements.
• Monitor student progress and modify intervention strategies as appropriate.
• Support students in accessing the educational environment and curriculum.
